THE COFFEE SERIES [2017] typify the aleatoric processes i use within my work. Aleatory, or chance, allows exploration of an infinite field of outcomes. Introducing an uncontrollable variable (the spilling of an unmeasured amount of coffee) begins the process, each sample's compound make up a product of chance, barista skill, ingredients etc.
